StudioTax 2009

StudioTax is built on Microsoft .Net framework. StudioTax install will attempt to download and install the .Net 2.0 SP2 if it's not already installed on your computer. VISTA and Windows 7 have already all the required dependancies including the required .Net library.

Follow these steps to download and install StudioTax 2009:

1. Download StudioTaxInstall09.zip, un-zip it and save StudioTaxInstall.exe to a temporary folder. Or you can just download the exe file StudioTaxInstall09.exe and save it to a temporary folder.
2. Try to run the install by double-clicking on the StudioTaxInstall.exe file that you downloaded and saved in step 1. Depending on your security settings, you may get some warnings about unknown publisher etc. Just click Run and/or Allow to resume installing StudioTax.
3. If the install fails because .Net framework is not installed, then download and install Microsoft .Net framework. Click on Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 SP2 to go to Microsoft download site.
4. Once StudioTax is installed, you can create your income tax return and print it. Refer to the help tab for quick overview on how to go about creating your first return.
5. Make sure to check for updates on a regular basis and before you file your return in order to download any updates we make to the software.
6. If you experience difficulties running Studiotax, then download and install Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 SP2.

System requirements

Since this software is built on the .Net 2.0 framework, the system requirements of the .Net framework apply to StudioTax. In plain English: If your computer is half-decent, you should not have any problem running this software.
